Job Overview
As an Attendant in the supply chain department, your primary duty will be operating and monitoring continuous production line equipment to keep manufacturing running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
The primary role of a production line attendant involves maintaining speed, safety, and strict hygiene standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Operational Duties
- Conveyor Management: Load pans onto the conveyor belt until fully loaded following line start-ups.
- Supply Flow: Maintain a continuous supply of pans and lids to support production needs by loading and off-loading materials as required.
- Equipment Inspection: Check pans and lids continuously for damage, dents, or signs of wear.
Quality Control & Food Safety
- Contamination Checks: Inspect pans and lids continuously for foreign objects, including old pieces of bread or residual dough.
- Visual Inspection: Monitor output visually to verify product quality and quantity standards.
- Food Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to company food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and hygiene procedures.
Safety & Maintenance
- Asset Protection: Help protect company assets and equipment through proper handling and vigilance.
- Issue Reporting: Promptly report machinery malfunctions or operational issues to supervisors or managers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and secure working space.
Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Requirements
- Education: A Matric certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
