The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing sound and timely results to accurately reflect the company’s financial position and produce effective reports to assist Divisional Managers with their decision-making.

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to:

1. Preparing, capturing, and processing Business unit month-end invoices.

2. Preparing, capturing, and processing all Business unit costs at month-end to ensure accurate divisional Income Statements.

3. Produce the monthly executive package to provide management with relevant information to aid in decision-making.

4. Ensuring divisional line managers receive all relevant management information by distributing required reports.

5. Produces divisional account reconciliations to ensure that allocation, payments, stock and costing transactions are correct.

6. Assist in the annual target process.

7. Prepare and present finance presentations.

Candidate Requirements

1. BCom Accounting with Honours and/or studying towards CIMA.

2. Minimum 5 years of Management accounting experience.

3. Knowledge of cost and management accounting, financial reporting and reconciliations.

4. Excellent ability to problem-solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business processes and cost optimization.

5. Good communication skills including presentation skills.

6. High level of accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail are pre-requisites.

7. Assertiveness and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

8. Proficient in MS Office Suite, experience on JDE would be advantageous.

9. Deadline-driven, ability to work under pressure.

10. Valid unendorsed driver’s license and own vehicle
