JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: Housekeeper
Key Responsibilities:
– Clean and maintain all guest cabins and public areas, including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, and dining areas
– Change linens, make beds, and replace towels as needed
– Vacuum, dust, and mop floors in all areas
– Empty trash and replace with new liners
– Clean and disinfect surfaces, including counters, tables, and doorknobs
– Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies and amenities
– Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
– Assist with laundry and ironing as needed
– Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and healthy environment for guests and crew
– Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role
– Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation techniques and products
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
– Excellent time management skills
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
– Good communication and customer service skills
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
– Must be able to live and work on a ship for the duration of the contract
