Delivering quality service to Bar & Lounge guests. Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages. Making beverage menu recommendations, answering questions, and sharing additional information with guests.

Minimum Experience and Qualification Required:

  • Grade 12
  • 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel restaurant or similar environment
  • Good understanding of point-of-sale systems, Easipos knowledge is an advantage
  • Must be motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic
  • Must be a team player, with a positive attitude
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must be able to work under pressure

Key Performance Objectives:

  • Focus on customer service, drink preparation, and overall bar management.
  • Delivering excellent service to customers.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Consistently preparing and serving drinks to the highest standard.
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink presentation.
  • Serving drinks quickly during busy periods.
  • Managing multiple orders without compromising quality.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
  • Ensuring proper stock management and hygiene.
  • Accurately handling cash, processing payments, and managing tabs.
  • Upselling drinks and increasing sales.
  • Adhering to alcohol serving laws and regulations, and guest safety.
  • Keeping track of bar supplies and restocking as needed.
  • Managing stock levels to avoid shortages.
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments,
  • Effective communication with Management, guests, and fellow employees whilst on the floor.
  • Follow the correct sequence of service as per the company’s standards.
